‘I was flown home on New Year’s eve from a French hospital after a ski accident, with minutes to spare before a big family 80th birthday dinner party in our home. Luckily I had commissioned Lucy a few weeks earlier to provide a fantastic five course meal, so that I wouldn’t have to shop, cook or clear up meaning I could enjoy the party as a guest and avoid being the busy hostess. Within minutes of getting home, I was sipping wine and enjoying some fantastic canapés.The whole evening was a huge success, without me having to lift a finger to help (or even walk). I have already booked Lucy again for a ‘Chocolate Party’ as part of a ‘Hen do’ I am organising, as well as booking her for a drinks and canapé evening I have planned for later this month.
